Turn Hygia's story into the thought leadership, campaigns, and sales tools that move healthcare buyers forward.

RemoteReports to: Chief Marketing OfficerCompensation: Currently equity-only, with a roadmap to cash compensation

About the role

Turn Hygia's story into content that will drive company growth.

We’re looking for a Director of Product and Content Marketing to turn Hygia’s story into the work the company runs on: thought leadership, competitive intelligence, collateral, campaigns, and the sales tools that move opportunities forward.

You’ll work closely with our CMO and directly with Sales, Product, and Clinical teams to translate positioning into the stories, proof, and tools buyers need to move forward. Experience in healthcare, health IT, or health technology is essential.

This is a writing role first. We want someone who can write exceptionally well themselves and who has sound judgment about AI: when it can accelerate a first draft, and when the work needs a human hand from the first word.

At this stage of Hygia’s growth, every asset carries weight. Buyers, pilot partners, investors, and future employees are forming an impression of the company through how we communicate. This role helps make that impression clear, credible, and consistent.

This is a foundational role at an early-stage company. Compensation is currently equity-only, with a roadmap to cash compensation as the company grows.

Why Hygia

Help define how a new healthcare platform enters the market.

Hygia is developing an AI-powered relationship platform that enables healthcare organizations to establish, maintain, and scale continuous, personalized engagement with the populations they serve.

At the center of the platform is Gia, Hygia’s AI-powered digital health companion. Gia engages patients through natural conversation while Hygia develops relevant context, supports healthcare workflows, and helps bring people into the process when human attention is needed.

We’re an early-stage company, which means the work is visible, the problems are still being shaped, and individual contributions have an outsized impact.

What you'll do

Build the story, the content, and the tools around it.

  • Develop and evolve solution messaging and positioning across audiences, market segments, and use cases, translating Gia's clinical, business, and technical value into clear buyer-facing stories.
  • Track competitors, category shifts, buyer signals, and analyst direction, then turn that intelligence into positioning decisions, sales guidance, and content the company can use.
  • Coordinate go-to-market execution and launch readiness across Product, Marketing, and Sales around major product and company milestones.
  • Build the content engine across the buyer journey, from thought leadership and long-form content to campaigns, web content, case studies, and sales collateral, and manage the editorial process from idea through distribution.
  • Create battlecards, one-pagers, presentations, objection-handling guides, and other sales enablement tools, and participate in sales conversations to bring field intelligence back into messaging.
  • Establish the KPIs, workflows, editorial standards, and repeatable processes the function will use as it grows, including thoughtful use of AI to increase leverage without compromising quality.

What you'll bring

Strong writing, sound judgment, and experience with complex buyers.

Required

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex clinical, technical, and business concepts clear, credible, and useful to enterprise buyers.
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a combined role, including experience in healthcare or health technology.
  • Experience marketing to enterprise buyers through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experience developing content across multiple formats and channels, with strong editorial judgment and working knowledge of SEO.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Preferred

  • Experience building or helping build a marketing function in an early-stage company.
  • Experience bringing new products, solutions, or categories to market.
  • A track record of using AI tools thoughtfully to increase output, improve workflows, or remove friction while maintaining strong editorial standards.
  • Advanced degree.

You may be a good fit if…

You like building as much as strategizing.

You are comfortable moving from a positioning discussion to a blank page to a sales call in the same day. You can work without a large team or mature process around you, and you know the difference between moving quickly and lowering the standard.
